Getting setup
Starting your adventure with Blinq couldn’t be easier and takes less than 10 minutes. We’ll send you all the gear you need and walk you through the process step by step. Not only that, we’ll send you £5 just for getting your Blinq Box setup.

Rewards for watching TV
With your Blinq Box successfully setup and running in the background, all that’s left to do is grab your TV remote and tune in to your favourite shows.
The box will run in the background, you will forget it’s even there, and by making sure that you watch at least 30 minutes a month of any live TV you will earn £30. Then just do it again and again each month to unlock up to £360! How good?
Earning extra with YouTube
That’s right, the rewards keep coming! You could earn an extra £10 per month every month of the study on top of the £30 you earn from watching TV just by spending at least 30 minutes a week watching YouTube videos on your TV. That means you could turn the £365 for setting up and tuning into TV for a year into £485 if you earn extra with YouTube. We’re crazy for this one 🤯

Some frequently asked questions
How will I know if the Blinq Box is working?
Once the setup is complete, you shouldn't ever have to worry about the Blinq Box again. As long as it has power it will be running properly but you can always feel free to switch back to the HDMI channel you’ve selected to see if it’s happy. If you’ve been logged out or there’s been an error, it will be displayed on your TV screen when you’re on that HDMI input.
Do I have to watch content from the Blinq Box?
The Blinq Box is just used to capture data, and isn’t able to be used for any other purpose. So once it is setup all you have to do is switch over to your normal TV channels and watch TV as you normally would. It won’t get in the way and will run quietly in the background.
How do I earn rewards?
It couldn’t be easier. All you need to do is make sure your Blinq Box is switched and running properly, then watch your favourite TV channels and shows for at least 30 minutes once a week. You’ll need to make sure someone is in the room and visible to the webcam during that time, and the Blinq Box will do the rest to make sure your time is recorded and goes towards your rewards total.
When do I receive my rewards?
Your first reward for setting up your Blinq Box will be sent to you within 1 business day of completing your setup. Then your rewards for participating in the study are sent via email at the end of each month and can be redeemed for gift cards, paypal or prepaid visa/mastercard cards using Tremendous. What if I haven’t received my rewards?
Rewards are sent to the email address you signed up with, so please check both your inbox and junk / spam folders at the end of each month.
